"Unleash Your God-Given Healing" by Ginny Brant

This week's guest post is written by my friend Ginny Dent Brant. Ginny and I served together as trustees of the International Mission Board. Ginny is a speaker and writer who grew up in the halls of power in Washington, DC, the daughter of an insider of the Nixon administration .

Ginny has battled cancer, ministered around the world, and served on the front lines of American culture as a counselor, educator, wellness advocate, and adjunct professor.

Ginny Brant’s award-winning book, Finding True Freedom: From the White House to the World, was endorsed by Chuck Colson and featured in many TV and media interviews.

Her second book, Unleash Your God-Given Healing: Eight Steps to Prevent and Survive Cancer, was released this month, and it is endorsed with foreword and commentary by oncologist and medical researcher, Dr. Robert Elliott. Learn more at www.ginnybrant.com.

Over the past few weeks, I've discovered far more about natural health and the body's incredible ability to heal itself than I ever imagined.  Unleash Your God-Given Healing: Eight Steps to Prevent and Survive Cancer is a tremendous encouragement for any person or family battling the disease of cancer.

Below is Ginny's story:

What’s a Nice, Baptist Gal like Me Doing in a Cancer Center?

The Bible tells us that our body is beautifully and wonderfully made. In fact, our body is made with an innate ability to heal. Our God-given immune system functions best when we live and do the right things! When you add lifestyle changes to complement your doctor’s treatment for cancer and address the root causes, your chances of defeating cancer and returning to vibrant health are greatly enhanced.

I read 40 to 50 books. I interviewed doctors, scientists, nutritionists and attended cancer conferences nationwide. My hunger to learn never waned. I was able to pull back the curtain on cancer connecting the dots between the Bible, nutrition, God’s anatomy of the body, and conventional and integrative medicine. It was doctors, researchers, and scientists like Dr. Judy Mikovits who helped me see clearly what was happening to my body. I also heard Robert Kennedy, Jr. speak as a concerned attorney who desperately believes, as does Dr. Mikovits, that we must change how vaccines are produced and administered.

Oncologists treat symptoms and do their best to kill the cancer. They generally don’t address what initially caused the cancer and what you can do to prevent recurrence. Although my life was saved by conventional medicine, my health was restored by finding the causes and implementing lifestyle changes. These changes I learned attending several cancer conferences, reading books, and listening to medical lectures and interviews online.

Taking birth control pills, postponing childbirth, not breastfeeding, taking human-made estrogen hormones after menopause, drinking excessive alcohol, living a sedentary lifestyle, being overweight, and smoking are the risk factors for developing my cancer. Since I had none of these, I was forced to search deeper.

I discovered I was not health nutty enough! After having an integrative medical doctor test the levels of heavy metals and chemical toxins in my body, one main cause stood out above the rest. My body had accumulated high levels of mercury and aluminum (both potentially from multiple vaccines I received going on mission trips), high levels of lead, and high levels of several hormone-disrupting chemicals such as the 2,4-D Agent Orange pesticide and glyphosate (both are Monsanto pesticides used on our crops).

I was living in an estrogenic, toxic world and did not realize it. Dr. Mikovits and several other doctors helped connect the Bovine Growth Hormone (administered to animals to increase milk and meat production) to breast cancer. Other doctors have also connected Monsanto pesticides to increased risk of cancer. At present, The American Cancer Society and breastcancer.org are beginning to mention pesticides as a possible link to cancer.

One in eight women are now diagnosed with breast cancer and 80 percent of those are estrogen-driven. We must look at what is causing this. And here’s a real shocker—90% of men diagnosed with breast cancer are also estrogen-fed. This is further proof that hormones in meat and dairy, hormone-disrupting pesticides used to grow our foods, and household chemicals are having an adverse impact on our health.

I’ve watched as many integrative doctors and scientists are discredited and quickly labeled as quacks. I’ve learned not to always trust our government, the CDC, EPA or the FDA to completely protect my health. There are many individuals who profit from maintaining the status quo in this capitalist world. I’ve learned I am my own best advocate. I must look behind the curtain and discover who is paying for the research.

I don’t personally know Dr. Mikovits, and I’m not qualified to verify any of her scientific claims. I do appreciate, however, doctors and scientists who risk their lives and reputation to speak the truths they discover. And if they don’t adhere to what Big Pharma, Wall Street, and government agencies are promoting, it’s not unusual for these brave souls to be marginalized or persecuted. Many of the doctors and scientists I met were Christians whose dedication to their fields was quite evident. Common sense and lifestyle changes were an integral part of their field of study.

I’ve lost many friends in the cancer journey—some to cancer and some to the side effects and toxicity of chemotherapy. I strongly believe we must use less chemo. Big Pharma prefers we use more. In my opinion, low dose chemotherapy used with nontoxic adjuvants is the future of cancer treatment. This would be a difficult sell in our country because cancer revenues and profits underwrite the expenses of some hospital systems.

I never wanted to write a book about cancer! After all I learned in my journey, I felt compelled to share so others might escape this nightmare. The result is “Unleash Your God-Given Healing: Eight Steps to Prevent and Survive Cancer.” I didn’t write anything in this book without extensive medical research and footnotes. A well-respected oncologist and medical researcher who runs a breast cancer center in Baton Rouge, Dr. Robert Elliott, wrote the foreword and commentary from a medical perspective throughout my book.

My book is written for those who desire to prevent cancer, who are in the cancer journey, or those who want to prevent recurrence. I also have a cancer prevention blog called Lifestyle Changes Beat Cancer (at www.ginnybrant.com) where I continue to share information on health and wellness.

The best way to make your body less susceptible to any illness including cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s or COVID-19 is to make sure your immune system is armed and ready for battle. The eight steps in my book challenge you to change what your doctor has no control over—your lifestyle habits! When you add these eight steps to hand washing, social distancing, isolating those who are sick or vulnerable, and wearing masks in public, your susceptibility for coronavirus is reduced even more. You’ll never hear or read anything from the CDC about maintaining your immune system as God intended.

And this Baptist gal has cancer no more!

“Your white blood cells account for only about 1% of your blood, but their impact is big. White blood cells are also called leukocytes. They protect you against illness and disease.
Think of white blood cells as your immunity cells. In a sense, they are always at war. They flow through your bloodstream to fight viruses, bacteria, and other foreign invaders that threaten your health. When your body is in distress and a particular area is under attack, white blood cells rush in to help destroy the harmful substance and prevent illness.
White blood cells are made in the bone marrow. They are stored in your blood and lymph tissues. Because some white blood cells have a short life of 1 to 3 days, your bone marrow is always making them.

Types of white blood cells
Among your white blood cells are:

• Monocytes. They have a longer lifespan than many white blood cells and help to break down bacteria.
• Lymphocytes. They create antibodies to fight against bacteria, viruses, and other potentially harmful invaders.
• Neutrophils. They kill and digest bacteria and fungi. They are the most numerous type of white blood cell and your first line of defense when infection strikes.
• Basophils. These small cells seem to sound an alarm when infectious agents invade your blood. They secrete chemicals such as histamine, a marker of allergic disease, that help control the body's immune response.
• Eosinophils. They attack and kill parasites and cancer cells, and help with allergic responses.
Problems affecting white blood cells
Your white blood cell count can be low for a number of reasons. This includes when something is destroying the cells more quickly than the body can replenish them. Or when the bone marrow stops making enough white blood cells to keep you healthy. When your white blood cell count is low, you are at great risk for any illness or infection, which can spiral into a serious health threat.
Your healthcare provider can do a blood test to see whether your white blood cell count is normal. If your count is too low or too high, you may have a white blood cell disorder.
A number of diseases and conditions may affect white blood cell levels:

• Weak immune system. This is often caused by illnesses such as HIV/AIDS or by cancer treatment. Cancer treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy can destroy white blood cells and leave you at risk for infection.

• Infection. A higher-than-normal white blood cell count usually means you have some type of infection. White blood cells are multiplying to destroy the bacteria or virus.

• Myelodysplastic syndrome. This condition causes abnormal production of blood cells. This includes white blood cells in the bone marrow.

• Cancer of the blood. Cancers including leukemia and lymphoma can cause uncontrolled growth of an abnormal type of blood cell in the bone marrow. This results in a greatly increased risk for infection or serious bleeding.

• Myeloproliferative disorder. This disorder refers to various conditions that trigger the excessive production of immature blood cells. This can result in an unhealthy balance of all types of blood cells in the bone marrow and too many or too few white blood cells in the blood.

• Medicines. Some medicines can raise or lower the body's white blood cell count.
Conditions such as extreme physical stress caused by an injury or emotional stress can also trigger high white blood cell levels. So can inflammation, labor or the end of pregnancy, smoking, or even extreme exercise. “

Thanks for this, Wade. I went ahead and ordered her book. I have some friends dealing with cancer and are seeking to follow this type of advice in addressing things in a comprehensive manner to keep the cancer at bay following conventional treatments. I also want to see some of the things that she has uncovered in the process of her own research and I know my wife will be very interested as well.

We know that we are constantly exposed to cancer causing sources every day and no matter how hard we try to eliminate them, it would be impossible to be totally safe. Heard today where Johnson and Johnson had decided, following many lawsuits, to not sell their Baby Powder due to suits saying that it was the source over various cancers. Amazingly, they will continue to sell it in other countries! What's up with that?!

I do want to take practical measures to avoid being exposed to dangerous elements but I will not get eccentric and paranoid to the point of not using deodorant (have often wondered if that could be another source) and even though I know it would drive some crazy for me to say it, I continue to use weed killing chemicals like "Round Up" but take precautions when I do use it that might offer protection.

A final word, one thing that is kind of nice about becoming an old man is that we don't have to worry so much about extending our life since it is very unlikely we're going to live too many more decades no matter what! Still, I do want to do my best to have a healthy life with whatever remains, plus, I want to live close to as long as my wife does! Can't stand the thought of her getting another boyfriend after I'm gone!

Wade,

The link below is interesting.

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2010-10-scientists-cancer-purely-man-made.html

Going back to my grandmother (besides one person) I don’t know of any of my relatives have ever smoked. None have had cancer.

Many years ago, I read about our immunity system (God given) worked. They could watch White Cells at work.

They noticed these cells would be attacking some foreign substance, but would switch to attacking sugar when it came in. They didn’t know if the cells thought it was more dangerous or if they like it.

They concluded if a person ate ice cream at supper, their immunity system would not be back to 100% until after mid-night.

I believe people get cancer because their immunity system is low.

Wade,

I’ve given Judy and I nicknames that start with “F”. She is the ‘Finder’ and I’m the ‘Forgetter’.

I just forgot, I have prostate cancer, but the good new is the doctor said at 88, I won’t live long enough for it to kill me. :)

Ginny Brant said...

Good for you. My husband isa prostate cancer survivor, but his diagnosis was at a much earlier age. the surgeries and treatments have improved greatly for those who need it.

Ginny Brant said...

To be clear, I used conventional medicine. The conventional medicine cured my cancer, but I used these eight steps to protect and rebuild my body after one year of chemotherapy. After chemotherapy, my doctors were amazed when my red and white blood cells and platelets were all back within normal ranges in just six weeks. This usually takes 2 to 5 years! The eight steps complemented what my doctors were doing and my prognosis was so much better than if i had just used conventional medicine. My book is endorsed by several doctors and has commentary written by an oncologist. You play a part in preventing and surviving your own cancer. Look at what you can do to help your doctor to prevent and cure your cancer.

CM said...

Ginny,

For starters, thank you for reiterating that it was conventional therapies that cured your cancer. Much of the recent cancer research has been in the field of cancer immunotherapy. Ipilimumab is but one of the therapies. As an aside, the 2018 Nobel Prize in Medicine went to James P. Allison and Tasuku Honjo for their discovery of cancer therapy by inhibition of negative immune regulation.

Millions are collected by those who ‘cure’ cancer.

How much do they spend in research for ways to prevent cancer???

Rex,

Here is a link at the National Cancer Society that provides the breakdown (at least for them):

https://www.cancer.org/research/currently-funded-cancer-research/investment-by-research-areas.html

49.6% is on the basic research of the biology, causes, and etiology of cancer. Early detection and prevention are 12.9%, and treatment is 16.5%.

I am sure there are similar breakdowns at NCI, NIH, etc.

NIH does a lot of research in many fields, of course cancer included.

I greatly appreciate this post as I was forced to start out on a similar journey to regain health over twenty years ago, and have met a vast amount of people along the way. Many of them are now dead or severely crippled/impaired due to accepting without questioning the allopathic diagnosis and treatment.

In fact, I recently did business several months ago with a man whose brother got diagnosed with Lyme disease from his general practioner, went on to get a second opinion from Hopkins which was that he had early stages of ALS. This man sadly decided Hopkins knew more than his family doc, did not get treated for lyme, but went on medications to cope and died two years later. I was in tears after he told me this since I was in a similar situation, but refused to accept what I call 'waste basket diagnoses' from 11 different docs (including John Hopkins), and kept pursuing other opinions. I cannot tell you the number of people I have encountered who have flatly accepted diagnoses of MS, parkinsons, ALS with no thought of seeking other opinions.

My son got non-hodgkin lymphoma a couple years ago, went through half of his chemo treatments at Hopkins and quit cold turkey. Decided to take health into his own hands, made a lot of lifestyle and dietary changes, frequently uses HBO treatment, stays away from GMO and glyphosate laced foods, and is still happily ticking. Thank God!

BTW, dental amalgams are also a culprit of heavy metal toxicity. Got several in my collection of teeth that I need to address at some point, but in the meanwhile chelate from time to time with various herbs.

One of the better articles that explain the difference between Pasteur (germ theory) and Bechamp (terrain theory) and why our world has been dominated by Pasteur.

https://thefreedomarticles.com/inner-terrain-vs-outer-key-good-health/

"Germ theory prevailed over host theory in the minds of many at the time, especially within the medical community. Despite this, that it is reported that, on his death bed, Pasteur renounced germ theory and admitted that Bechamp had been right all along (“Le microbe n’est rien, le terrain est tout.” [“The microbe is nothing, the terrain is everything”]). In my opinion, the acceptance of germ theory and the denigration of host theory has had disastrous effects for human health. It has conditioned people to be fearful of germs, to focus on the outer terrain and to look outside of themselves to antibiotics, petrochemical drugs, vaccines, radiation, chemotherapy and other allopathic interventions to save them from disease. Yes, there is a time and place for some of these measures, but the side effects are horrible, including vaccine-induced damage and the rise of antibiotic-resistant superbugs, a whole new class of microbes which are on the verge of rendering antibiotics useless."

RBK - Used to feed my family meat thirty years ago with nothing but deer taken with the stick and string method. THought it was so much more healthy than buying the antibiotic/growth hormone laced meet and the store. Problem is they ate what was tastiest and most readily available - corn, soy beans, wheat, barley right out of the field, all of which were prepped beforehand with round up and other chemicals. "You are what your food eats" is so applicable. I have no doubt in my mind that this was one of the contributing factors that lead to my loss of health, along with my oldest and middle child.

Do yourself a favor and just don't use it in your garden, and don't be present when fields are being sprayed. Runoff is also a concern. :)

The reason we have antibiotic-resistant superbugs is because doctors (and everyone else) were prescribing them and using them everywhere and for everything (even giving them to kiddies with viral infections) over the decades. Also, rather than properly tailoring the specific antibiotic to the bacterial infection, they used all the various big gun broad-spectrum antibiotics to cure minor illnesses like streph throat.

So vastly overused and misused antibiotics created the superbugs.

"If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail."

CM - I was on various anti's back then off and on (more on than off) for around two years, combined with healthy doses of probiotics and frequent liver blood tests, and I reckon they probably saved my life in one sense, but severely crippled my immune system. If better herbal protocols had been available, I certainly would've gone in that direction. Thankfully, I haven't touched anti's since as I have found better ways to prevent and/or treat infection.

IMO, our nation would be much healthier if CDC and NIH would simply change course or disappear. Ken

Rex,

For starters, this is from the American Cancer Society (which I think most of their money comes from donations, but I could be wrong).

Ken,

Antibiotics are not the problem. It is the idiots who use them for everything. The classic case is that little Johnny has some kind of cough, cold, and fever and it is most often some type of viral infection. Johnny complains and Mom takes him to the doctor and they both complain. Then the doctor prescribes an antibiotic for something that has not been determined to be a bacterial infection.

Here is one article from 1997 on establishing protocols to prevent antibiotic resistance:

https://www.pnas.org/content/94/22/12106

The problem is that these protocols should have been done beginning in the 1950's.

As an aside, obviously the better health one is in prior to any treatment or disease, the better you are. All the antibiotics in the world won't help much if you don't get any rest, enough food, etc. So it is not an either/or condition.

CM said...

On a more philosophical note, I think most Americans since the end of WWII have been spoiled by our instant gratification society. We want our requests, needs, desires and the like fulfilled NOW. This applies not only to the over-prescribing of antibodies, but to a whole lot of other things. I don't want to feel icky for more than 2-3 days, so I will take an antibiotic (never mind that it doesn't work for viral infections). But hey, _SOMETHING_ was done and that makes all the difference. I want to lose weight, but I don't want to work out (that is where diet pills and liposuction come in). I don't want to take the time to get the ingredients and prepare a healthy meal, so I will order pizza instead. And on and on.

Anonymous said...

CM - I'm not disagreeing with you on the resistance issue, but more on the issue of the idea of why medical societies would use regulated antibiotics (against all life throughout the body since it's not targeting one specific bacteria) before other natural God-given means to prevent/control infection - like oral surgeons using the hyperbaric oxygen (sustains life in all parts of the body) chamber before and after surgeries, or the use of natural herbs which support immune function that we all can easily grow. I could go on, but hopefully you get my point. Ken

Rex Ray said...

CM,

You’re sure right about America being over-prescribed on antibodies. We’ve had so much; our immunity system goes to war against them. We’re worse off for taking them.

Ginny Brant said...

Let's be honest. Infectious diseases were what killed and disabled many Americans for years. Until COVID-19, we've been plagued mainly with chronic diseases. My mother-in-law became deaf because she had an infection just a few years before antibiotics were available. My sister's life was saved by IV penicillin when she contracted bacterial meningitis. Antibiotics have saved many lives, but true, they should only be used when necessary. Chemotherapy and antibiotics both damage the gut lining. So when you need to take one or the other, you must protect the gut. After one year of chemotherapy, I rebuilt my gut. My book tells you what to do. The problem is most cancer patients don't know they need to do this. And 70 percent of our immune cells are located in our guts so this lining must be renourished. It takes time. The doctor who wrote the commentary in my book talks about the overuse of antibiotics.

CM said...

I think the quick and easy instant gratification aspect of it, is in large part the problem (See my earlier post). If people gargled with saline regularly, that would reduce the risk of infections (both viral and bacterial) and the duration of coughs, sore throats, etc. but how many people do that? An ounce of prevention, that sort of thing. God forbid one has to spend another 5 minutes in a day doing that.

There are cases where the infection overwhelms the body and antibiotics are needed. Again, the better health your immune system is, the less likely that is to happen.

As an aside, I would argue that the antibiotics and medicines are also God-given. Most notably God gave man intelligence and the ability to create things from the materials here on earth. And natural is one of those sufficiently broad phrases than can mean anything really.

Case in point: aspirin. Salicin is found in the willow bark is responsible for the pain relieving effects of willow bark extract. It has been used for pail relief since antiquity. By the nineteenth century, pharmacists were experimenting with and prescribing a variety of chemicals related to salicylic acid, the active component of willow extract. In 1897, scientists at the drug and dye firm Bayer began investigating acetylsalicylic acid as a less-irritating replacement for standard common salicylate medicines, and identified a new way to synthesize it. And aspirin was born.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_aspirin

The side stomach irritating effect of aspirin is also in the willow bark extract. Because the same active ingredients use the same mechanism of action to relieve pain (it is a COX inhibitor).

This what the whole field of medicinal chemistry is about. So when people say natural, they need to remember that all the herbs and the like are made up of complex organic chemical compounds (of which a number of them within that particular plant are the active ingredients to produce the effect).

Hello Ginny,

Many of these chronic diseases are the diseases of civilization (Heart Disease, Lung Cancer, etc.). Google the Framingham Heart Study.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Framingham_Heart_Study

It is because of this study we know the risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Something we take for granted now, but 80 years ago this was completely unknown.

CM said...

Rex,

Because of this overuse of antibiotics that is why were have been in a bit of a fix dealing with superbugs like MRSA. Fortunately, newer antibiotics have been developed to deal with the superbugs and now there are a lot more protocols in place generally for selection and prescription of antibiotics.

Another thing is that when you are prescribed a full course of antibiotics, people need to complete the entire course. The classic case is TB patients not completing their meds and as a result, a greater chance of resistant TB develops.

Hello Ginny,

I would like to join CM in thanking you for sharing this:
"To be clear, I used conventional medicine. The conventional medicine cured my cancer, but I used these eight steps to protect and rebuild my body after one year of chemotherapy."

It sounds like you had the best of both worlds in surviving and in growing stronger and I am relieved to hear that you did take advantage of 'conventional' medicine. I lost a dear friend to cancer who did not reach the age of 40 because she rejected her physicians' advice for treatment and found a therapy that was not effective for treating her ovarian cancer. So I am leery of alternative 'therapies' that avoid what is recommended by oncologists.

Thank you for sharing your ideas here and for re-assuring us that you did not turn away from needed help to opt out for something that might not have worked for you. I still mourn my friend who died so young, but she was not open to reason and was firm in her refusal to seek what she did need to battle her cancer. We who were her friends were heartbroken by her decision and by the consequences.

Ken, you bring up good points about using "Round Up" and other chemicals.I didn't mean to trivialize the dangers and damages that such chemical do. I use it with a sense of guilt recognizing the potential for damaging the environment. I know it is such practices that are wiping out our bee population and damaging ground water not to mention what it probably does to those of us using it even if we do wear masks, goggles and gloves.

I will try to be more creative in controlling weeds, etc., to see if I can find alternatives which may not be as dangerous.

CM,
You hit the nail on the head, with your link about heart disease.

After two heart attacks, Dr. Kurt A. Oster believe he’d not violated any rules to stay healthy. He traveled the world and proved Homogenized Milk caused heart disease.

I have a 32-page book written by Nicholas Sampsidis, M.S. that has Dr. Oster’s findings of 13 countries. I’ll list 3 of them.

Death rate per 100,000 Milk intake per person Amount Homogenized
Finland 244.7 593 90%
United States 211.8 273 95%
Japan 39.1 48 5%

Rex Ray said...

A chart doesn’t look correct. So, I’ll write it.

Finland had a death rate per 100,000 was 244.7.
Its milk per person was 593 pounds.
Amount Homogenized was 90%

United States death rate per 100,000 was 211.8.
Its milk per person was 273 pounds.
Amount Homogenized was 95%.

Japan death rate per 100,000 was 39.1.
Its milk per person was 48 pounds.
Amount Homogenized was 5%.

A scratch causes a scab. Likewise, if veins and arteries are ‘scratched’ a ‘scab’ forms that blocks blood flow and causes heart attacks.

There is an enzyme molecule in milk that’s too large to pass through tissue. That means when you drink milk, this enzyme leaves your body. But when this molecule is made ten times smaller by being homogenized, it passes through tissue. This enzyme likes to ‘eat’, and in time it makes a raw spot which causes a ‘scab’. This ‘scab’ is made by cholesterol in trying to heal the raw spot.

Cholesterol gets the blame for heart disease because it is found at the scene of the crime.
Many people have heart disease that have low cholesterol.

CM said...

Rex,

It would be interesting so see how other dietary factors (Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratios), other countries that drink milk (albeit a different source - think Mongolia and Central Asian countries) would impact things. There is also an inflammation response associated with Coronary Artery Disease associated with that "scratch".

Here is a chart illustrating the nature of Omega-3 and Omega-6 on how they compete with each other:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eicosanoid#/media/File:EFA_to_Eicosanoids.svg

The wiki article itself provides further details. The Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratios in US diets are highly shifted towards Omega-6.

Christiane said...

Good Morning REX RAY,

wow, you are down on the dairy industry (the consumption of milk) as I can see from your comments, but I am often a visitor to the Mennonite dairy farm down the road from our community for their wonderful products (they even make fresh ice cream),
so I'm not giving up dairy quite yet. . . .

Hope you are doing as well as can be expected. With me it's last week the funeral home, this week an attorney and next week a meeting with some sort of financial advisor, so I'm sure glad my Coast Guard son is here to help me through the maze. But there is some comfort: my husband's rabbit whom he saw before he passed has come back into the yard to visit several times and yesterday there were two rabbits so maybe soon there will be bunnies, and that is a sweet connection I have with my husband's memory, as now the things that seem important to me seem as far from financial concerns and tax matters as the East is from the West. But all shall get done in time.

So how is your health these days? And hopefully you will tell me that the 'virus' is not all around in your area. I heard it was spreading into the middle of the country but not at the same rates as seen on the East coast, thank God. Try to stay safe. Take precautions that are reasonable and hopefully you and Judy will get through this crisis unscathed. So many are not, unfortunately, so prayers are needed for their sake.

Take care. Stay well, and may you live long to share many wonderful stories for many years to come.

"This process of holding public officials liable for trespassing technology has never been done before, but it is having an enormous impact on those who are being served the Notice of Liability (NoL). Since 2015, a number of public officials who have received the NoL have stepped down from their positions.

Whereas petitions, protesting in the streets, attending public hearings, costly class action lawsuits, hiring attorneys, or writing letters has had little to no effect, the NoL has had demonstrable successes. These amount to many moving parts and moving targets, all of which the InPower staff is carefully monitoring.

We do not advertise our victories, as we have found that when we do, the utilities will choose the weaker individuals in that victory and seek to harass them.

We can share with you the fact that all of the people in the initial Seattle group kept their analogue meters. In other cities where we had seed groups, what happened was much the same, with multiple cases of respondents (officials) stepping down.

On a wider scale, it is hard to document the past successes, since so many people across the country have been serving the NoL without notifying us or seeking support. From those who do contact us, we learn that many people who have taken pro-active measures with the NoL have been able to keep the smart meters off. Some are paying opt-out fees, and some are not.

Here are some success examples:

• On January 30, 2015, Brett Hodson, the CEO of Corix Utilities (the installer of smart meters in British Columbia), received more than 100 Notices of Liability from people in Kelowna. On February 4th, he received a separate Notice of Default. On the same day, he resigned from office.

• It is worth noting that this action was also sent to Len Kelsey, the chair of the BC Utilities Commission. In late 2015 he quietly resigned, as well.

• After being defaulted by just 21 people, three of the nine Seattle City Council members (Sally Clark, Tom Rasmussen, and Nick Licata) announced that they would not be seeking re-election—including one who resigned before her term was finished.

• On March 13th, Jorge Carrasco, the defaulted CEO of Seattle City Light (the 10th largest public utility in the nation), announced his resignation.

• After being defaulted by another 21 individuals, the Michigan attorney general began calling for a free opt-out.

• Four of the eight Michigan Public Services Commission officers being held liable are no longer listed on the Commission’s web site.

• David Greim, a city attorney in Warren, Michigan also resigned, but not before sending a letter to one of the claimants stating that the utility had a budget of $21 million set aside for paying off state legislators.

I finished this book about the 125 billion dollar a year cancer industry yesterday. Well documented - almost half the book is endnotes of referenced studies that have been purposefully suppressed.

Unbelievable how corrupt the industry actually is - so much that multitudes of doctors who come out of it are saying it's a death-for-profit business. Never knew that mammography and PCR tests are actually a joke like the covid-19 testing is.

Woops, I meant to say PSA (prostate), not PCR above. Ken

Christiane, if you gave your friend prayer support and love, then you did the right thing. I've learned from this journey that having a "peace" about the treatments you are given is important. When my doctors said the word "aggressive" and that was confirmed by three cancer centers, I decided that I must use conventional medicine to stop the cancer before it engulfed my body. I felt a peace about surgery, but I had to develop a peace about chemotherapy in time. I do recommend to all those I advise to have a top notch surgeon to remove as much of the cancer if possible. Some cancers are completely eradicated by surgery alone. I believe in surgery--especially since we have some of the best surgeons and surgical techniques including robotics in the world. Even if not all removed, after surgery, the chemo or whatever methods you use has less of a job to do. I must say that now I have met those who beat their cancers without chemotherapy, but it's not easy. There are casualties from the chemotherapy and from going all natural when it does not work. But both sides, conventional and holistic need to look at what each other is doing and learn from each other. We need every tool in the fight. Each person must feel a peace, but all cancer patients must look at their lifestyles and things that may have caused their cancer. We must be willing to change. One of my oncologists who followed me for a second opinion was shocked at how well I was doing after my fourth chemotherapy. I had the harshest of treatments and I'd just gone hiking in the mountains. He held up his waiting room and asked me what I was doing differently. He ended up starting a cancer prevention and wellness center to research cancer and provide help in prevention and getting through the treatments. I'm praying more hospitals will move in this direction.

Ginny,

Looks like a multifacated approach worked best for you.

The surgery reduced the tumor mass by 99% or more (hopefully). The chemo killed the remaining cancer cells. Radiation does that as well (or more importantly works with chemo to kill the cells). Your dietary and lifestyle changes improved the strength of your immune system and other systems to deal with chemo regimen.

In the case of glioblastoma, removal of 98% or more of the tumor has been associated with a significantly longer healthier time than if less than 98% of the tumor is removed.

Hello Ginny,

thank you for responding

yes, we did stand by our friend but by the time she passed, I had moved south with my husband and family to a different state, so when the news came, I had not been there to be with her, but thank you for your good words

I'm sorry you had to suffer through harsh chemo, as I know it is a brutal experience from a friend who had breast cancer. She was 'cured' although I understand that it came come back again in later years. As she had a mastectomy, I'm hopeful she will be 'okay'.

Your 'gone hiking in the mountains' reminds me of a Norwegian friend who taught our exercise class in New Jersy . . . Wenke was a great one for hiking and would walk for many, many miles at a time. She's a VERY healthy seventy year old. I admired her love for exercise and fitness and I do know the value of staying in shape from the absence of it, as when I retired from teaching, there were six operations waiting for one, one after the other (sigh). :)

Thanks again for communicating. God Bless!

CHRISTIANE,

I’ll bet the “Mennonite dairy farm down the road” is ‘raw milk’ that has not been Homogenized or Pasteurized, and that makes it very healthy.

The Bible speaks of lands flowing with milk and honey in Numbers 13:27, Exodus 3:8, and Deuteronomy 6:3.

Many stores have milk that states “Pasteurize only”.

The bad thing about Pasteurizing, heat kills a lot of the ‘good’ in milk.

We drink Almon milk.

Many years ago, I participated in bicycle rides. I had a large sign over my head that went from the front wheel to the back wheel. The letters were so large, there wasn’t room for ‘Homogenized”. It read “Stop heart attacks caused by Homo milk”. There was a book against Homogenizing fastened to it by Nicholas Sampsidis.

The “Homo” raised some questions. Once, a side wind blew me over.

This morning, I felt fine walking to the restroom, but because my back started hurting, Judy got two canes before I could get out. She went to town and bought a rollator walker. I hope she can take it back, because sitting here ‘blogging’ has me back to normal. :)

Just heard our favorite cousin, Claude Earl Hicks, will soon have a military burial service.

He was scheduled to invade Japan, but two weeks earlier, the bomb was dropped.

He was with us on that ‘infamous’ bear hunt in Alaska.

He and my brother were going to see me graduate at North Texas, but they got to talking and missed the ceremony. Judy was the only one there that was special.

One minor bit of trivia about milk. Humans are the only ones that drink milk from OTHER ANIMALS as adults are part of their diet. No other member of the animal kingdom does this.

Rex: Almond milk (aka nut juice) is good. I actually prefer it my coffee than regular milk.

CM,

The milk we buy is Almond milk. I don’t understand “Humans are the only ones that drink milk from OTHER ANIMALS…”

Calves can be fed goat’s milk.

Hello Rex,

Let me clarify. We are the only animals as ADULTS that have milk from other animals as part of their regular diet. You don't feed adult cows goat's milk.

Sorry if my sentence was confusing.

CM,

On the subject of “…God Given Healing”, have you heard of a dog doctor?

No. I mean a dog being a doctor. I’ll explain.

For five years I had a venous-ulcer from a scratch on my ankle. Many doctors tried different treatments from a skin graph to barometric treatments. One doctor did more harm than good with many ‘laser-vein’ treatments. Another doctor said those treatments made me a diabetic from the knee down.

When Judy and I married five years ago, there was a question if I could walk. If I couldn’t, she was going to carry me ‘piggy-back’ and we’d call it “Sadie Hawkins’s Day’.

My ankle got well three years ago but lately its started hurting some. Last week we kept a dog three days for a friend. The dog came up to me and smelled of my ankle.

And that’s the story of a dog being a doctor. :)
