The Appointment service will be held in conjunction with the Missouri Baptist Convention at the Show Me Center, Cape Girardeau, 1333 N. Sprigg. Directions: From 1-55 take the second Cape Girardeau exit heading eastbound, which is William Street. Stay on William Street 4 miles until you come to the Sprigg Street intersection and turn left. The Show Me Center is 2 miles down on the left side of the street.

Is the Plenary Session the only part of this meeting that is open to the public? I'm not far from St. Louis & have always been curious as to what goes on in trustee meetings.
Plenary Sessions are the only portion of the IMB Trustee meeting that the public can attend, unless specifically invited by the various committees to attend the committee meetings.

Are there some new rules for making comments, or have you gone back to the old rules?

Do the ad-hoc committees eventually issues reports of their findings? If so are they made public?
BTW, We just commissioned new missionaries from our church here last week. They are beginning training now and will be serving in SE Asia. They have really taken a step of faith by selling off most (if not all) of their possessions and going off to to the field.
No new rules Rex. Everyone is to be nice. That's all.

I have not been told what the ad hoc committees will do as far as reporting, so I can't answer your question.

I am not an a committee.
Chairman Dr. John Floyd is given constitutional authority to appoint trustees to different committees.
He has expressed to me his desire to appointment me to a committee. I anticipated that it would have happened at our last meeting, but it did not. We'll see about this meeting.
I have attended, and will continue to attend, all plenary sessions and Executive Sessions (closed door sessions) of the Board.

Well, well, well—what kind of truth and grace is that? Should Ron’s comment be deleted because two people didn’t like it? He wrote what he thought was the truth. Let’s hear what these two guys say. I thought discussion was the basis for your blog. To shut the post down is what Hitler did to newspapers.
